About Garvey's Carpet

Tom Garvey founded Garvey’s Flooring America in 1989, out of the back of his mom’s 12×14 shed using his old pick up truck as his “forklift”. He worked long and hard and after several months he was able to open up one retail location in Northumberland. Tom and his wife Christy have taken Garvey’s Flooring America from a small carpet and vinyl store, to a multiple location company, and are now currently the largest provider of floor coverings in Central PA. After twenty-five years Tom and Christy Garvey have built up a reputation in the Susquehanna Valley as the areas most trusted and preferred floor covering retailers! At Garvey’s we stand on our four core values: Excellence, Respect, Team Unity, and Customer Service. Each day the Garvey’s and the staff of each retail locations (Bloomsburg, Northumberland) use these four core values as the standard by which they do business.
